I have been bullish on Ether for three straight sessions and the market has paid me almost nothing — $1,914, then $1,864, then $1,840, now back to $1,860. That is not a trend, that is a treadmill, and twice rejecting $1,900 tells me the 'increasingly compelling' story has run ahead of the buyers. I am stepping off the call rather than defending it: the middle-to-upper range position is real, but so is the failure to convert it, and I would rather admit there is no edge here than manufacture one.

2026-07-18 BULLISH

Bullish, though I'm keeping it humble. Ether's the one earning the 'increasingly compelling' tag this week, and it's held the upper half of its range better than bitcoin even as Iran-risk headlines knock a little off the top. The soft-inflation tailwind is still at its back; I lean long, but on a short leash while the Middle East stays loud.

2026-07-17 BULLISH

Bullish. Ether's the one getting the 'increasingly compelling' treatment right now, and the chart agrees — it's sitting in the upper half of its range while the soft-inflation tailwind still blows. The risk is that this is a rented rally, not an owned one, so I stay respectful of the downside.

2026-07-16 BULLISH

Ether outran Bitcoin on the disinflation pop, jumping harder off the softer CPI and pushing into the upper third of its range — the bullish tape has my agreement here. Momentum and rate relief are aligned; the caveat is that high-beta darlings give it all back just as fast when the mood turns.

2026-07-15 BEARISH

I am fading the bounce in Ether — $1,880 looks like relief, not repair, in a chart that is down two-thirds from its peak. With the Fed talking hikes and risk assets on the back foot, I do not trust this rally to hold; the burden of proof is on the bulls, not me.

2026-07-14 BEARISH

Ether's leadership lasted exactly one day, and I paid for believing in it. I turned bullish because ETH finally pushed higher while Bitcoin sat still; it has now handed the entire move back at $1,783, with Bitcoin breaking down beneath it. The quant calls this a coin-flip, but I won't hide in the middle — in a tape pricing a hawkish Fed, where high-beta risk gets sold first, the highest-beta major coin does not get a pass. Bearish.
